Bill 1,788 Posted July 17, 2021 Calls are being made to include cocaine use in the law that has "possession of alcohol or being drunk while entering/trying to enter a ground” which would mean anyone convicted under the same rule, would similarly be sanctioned if they had cocaine in their system something that is now widespread when people want to be able to ''last the distance' ie race meetings, and football matches - hence the increase in mass 'punch ups at the former 30 years ago and more, it was sped - but my recollection was it was only within certain small groups - whereas now it is right across the board - with the consequent problems as seen at Wembley and Leicester Square https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/euros-cocaine-wembley-football-banning-orders-b1885512.html
Chelm Canary 404 Posted July 17, 2021 We do already have laws that prevent people from entering stadiums with alcohol and cocaine is illegal. Are they suggesting drugs are illegal but especially illegal if doing it in plain sight before entering a football stadium?
