Norwich vs the binners- Popularity contest

Recommended Posts

popularty.pngStrange, just the other day I saw an Ipswch fan post on socal media about how they were some kind of, and I quote 'massive club' and a 'Household name'.. Oh well, least they always have Morecambe away to look forward too right? ūüėČ

The Argos 30 Lt. Pedal Bin is a household name as well so don't put the comment down like that.

Does 359k followers versus just over 91K indicate a far wider worldwide interest amongst Twitter users for NCFC? I don't really use Twitter, although I am a 'follower 'of NCFC, but surely that is one hell of a difference.

Makes sense though. Bigger town, club and support, far more recent history in the top flight and with many overseas internationals ... from Finland to Cuba ... playing in the yellow.

You could use the same format to answer your question about QPR being a big club?

Shock horror, EPL side has a bigger following on one social media platform than a league one club.

Expression.

Let's not rub it in.

Many binners read this site and they are quite envious of our City status, Cathedral, airport etc.

Depends how it is used:

Town: "the central part of a neighbourhood, with its business or shopping area."

I think the comparison is hugely flawed and unfair to the Binners.

As a club, they haven't moved on since 1978 so it stands to reason the 'social media' they are mainly followed on is the letters page from the East Anglian Daily Times.

This week there were angry missives about the Winter of Discontent, how there is no way a woman can ever be Prime Minister and the disgraceful treatment of Laurie Sivell when Paul Cooper was bought from Birmingham.

He's frantic. One a minute postings.

Somethings clearly hit a nerve.

For the record, I pay enough (just) attention to your posts to note that they usually deteriorate into an exercise in incomprehension, insults and piffle.

All that personal stuff as well.

How admirable.

Greavsyo  must not be questioned Broado, have you not realised that yet?

Seems to enjoy having a dig at harmless Cambridgeo  too.

Maybe he's just  inadequate,  generally.

It's quite often the case in such circumstances.

What each post replying to one of yours?!

Yep - ive deffo done that!

I'm not really bothered how much attention you give me (although thanks for the previous recommendation of a lodge near yours - Can't think of anything worse personally!)

And yours are always so flattering. Ill leave your spelling mistakes and miss clarification of a town out though.

Funny how it can be personal when I don't know you, other than what you have posted on an open forum. Oh so that makes me a stalker. Righto!

This is definitely not the place for admiration, but if it was i wouldn't seek any from you.

Have a good day.

Don't fall for it, he won't give up. Trust me, I know. You're falling into his trap by replying, and as the saying goes..

Only winning move is not to play.

Quite happy to be questioned - and yep we all make mistakes - just don't be upset when others point yours out.

Its a football forum, not an English lesson.

He's so easy though.

It turns into fun.

The moment the personal stuff starts you know that he's lost it.

He's currently fixated on the fact that I drive an Alfa. A flippin' Alfa.

Good cars, but hardly the pinnacle of luxury.
