Ken Hairy 3,086 Posted June 27, 2021 Not Norwich related granted, but is leaving Fulham to become Bournemouth manager. Got to be honest, I really don't get him doing that at all, sideways move at best.
Bovril 210 Posted June 27, 2021 Depends on the finances involved and what he has/hasn't been promised with regards to funds and keeping key players at both clubs. Not as black and white as it may seem (excuse the pun).

Fulham want to sack him anyway, they are just holding off so Bournemouth pay the compensation rather than Fulham have to pay it themselves.
Hardhouse44 234 Posted June 27, 2021 Jump before he’s pushed. Also keeps his stock up. Poor fist 5 or 6 games and Fulham sack him. Yes a pay off but a black mark on his record. Bournemouth have more recent premiership pedigree and financial clout to compete to return and remain. Seem a shrewd move to me.
Canaries north 137 Posted June 27, 2021 My guess is finances will be tighter at Bournemouth than at Fulham. Both have very rich owners but with ffp I think Bournemouth will have to unload a lot of players on very big wages. Maybe he just wants to retire by the sea
TIL 1010 4,102 Posted June 27, 2021 If he is going to Bournemouth he must be next in line for the England job once Eddie Howe leaves. 1

Jim Smith 1,934 Posted June 27, 2021 Don’t think Parker is that great anyway. Certainly done no better than par at Fulham
sgncfc 1,136 Posted June 28, 2021 Surely a backwards step? Fulham will have more to spend and a better chance of auto's than Bournmuff - especially once Danjuma gets his wish and we sign Billing. Mind you he has taken all his backroom team - flipping dozens of them.
