let's break the bank for skipp

Recommended Posts

we really need to push the boat out for Skipp , our defence looked so much better last season due to the great job he done protecting our back four , we've just lost the creator let's not lose the destroyer as well , he won't be cheap and might prefer going back to spurs but we've got to go for it.

Our defence looked better last season because we were in the Championship.

Skipp is a good player but Watford and Bournemouth made him look ordinary

Don't think we need to break the bank for him, just cover his wages and agree a decent loan fee.  Hope this will happen, he is one of those players who just fits.  Would be a real boost to see him back for another season.

He's still better than anything else we've got at the moment so we've got to break the bank to either get him out replace him. He's definitely playing ahead of his years, he'll get better too. It was his first season in professional first team football basically, he was far ahead of anyone's expectations

Did Skipp sleep with your wife or something?

Even if the new coach doesn't fancy him, I think he'll only be loaned out.

The new coach is highly likely to be Fonseca at this point, who would probably give him a chance.

The bits coming out indicate that Levy seems to want greater focus on youth. That does not bode well for us, but does bode well for Skipp when it comes to playing for his boyhood team. Really wouldn't begrudge him that and if he does end up staying at Spurs, I'd truly hope he gets that sort of run in the first team and not that he's holding up an end here or there.

But he was seen "house hunting" at the weekend - thought that proved it was a done deal.

Break the bank?.....As a self-funding club we'd probably have to rob it......

We’d have to open the account for them

I think you will find Norwich city will get cheap players in as they do this every time they get in the premier league .

Love how you refer to 'us' as 'they'.

Binner is obvious in this one, enjoy the 3rd division.... again.

If Skipp was really looking for property in Norwich last weekend then it's strange nothing wasn't announced this week bearing in mind all the bad news flying around. Don't think we're even close at the moment.

I expect Spurs new manager will want to look at Ollie over the pre season before making a decision. We need to sign another option first.

Can't see him coming cheap. I'd not like to negotiate money with Levy!

I think he was more likely handing back his rental unfortunately. Another photo has surfaced of him outside the same property from earlier in the season.

Wonder how much a season’s loan and wage bill might be.  Perhaps something in the region of £5 million?  Oh…

Could have been literally anything.

What if he met his girlfriend in Norwich, who can't move to London with him because she's two years through a degree at the UEA but he wants her to have a nice pad for when he visits, etc.

Still a distinct possibility that he has just moved out of that house as well.

Winks will be made available this summer by the incoming sporting director at Spurs, according to the Beeb. If true, Skipp is perhaps part of their plans.

The other issue is he is currently injured and much of pre season for him will be rehabilitation. Spurs might not make up their mind until January.
