New main sponsor, blah blah blah - but look at those lights!

I'll say it before anyone else does.....how much did that cost to do 😆

Why do you think Emi Buendia has been sold?

That's a JOKE before someone jumps on me and starts suggesting I'm in with the pessimistic bed wetters.

Ok i will bite.......What's with all the blue illuminating Carrow Road and the advertising boards ? 😛

Anyway this is surely not an official new sponsor thread as it is not started by Cambridge.

I look forward to my forthcoming addiction to BK8 with great anticipation.

The way they used the pretty lights has ensnared me.

Hahaha well that was completely mad, fun but bonkers!

EDIT. having seen the aftermath of this, a few fancy lights aren't going to cut it.

Cheap as chips. I have similar lights in my hot tub and bought them on ebay. 3 AA batteries in each. Poundland sell batteries. 1000 for £1.

Very cool lighting! They’d have to give everyone a pre event warning for all those strobes.

anyone know what Connor is referring to?

Their instagram account was a significant number of pictures of ladies wearing BK8 tank tops in revealing ways.

Earlier on, BK8's official Twitter account had 97 followers 🤐

To go from Dafabet to this joke of an organisation is pretty embarrassing.

There was also one of a similarly revealingly dressed young lady in handcuffs. Not a good look.

Unknown gambling firm with questionable social media and a remarkably low profile for a firm with the budget to sponsor a Premier League team.

Sure there is nothing dodgy to see here...

We're replacing final year of a 3 yr contract with one questionable betting company, with a ONE year deal with an even more moral-lacking betting firm!  I'm not even hoping they got plenty of money for that switch - this is so embarassing....  And after selling our best player (which I was not as bothered about as most), but Kensal has a lot to answer for on this.

The fact that BK8 is pro Chinese government? That Bk8 site is pretty much a softcore **** site? Who knows

Very, very poor from our 'family friendly' club. Disguting really

So, someone who knows about these things, are those lights new or the work of fancy computer magic?

That would look mega during evening games if they've actually installed something like that.

I do find it odd that Eadie is front and centre of this. He's well known for his own mental health struggles and the exemplary work he has done in raising awareness, yet here he is assisting with the promotion of an industry that causes widespread mental health struggles around the world.

When we’ve just sold our best player for £33m did we really need to sign a sponsorship deal with this bunch? Given that we’re unlikely to spend all of the Emi money I’d have rather is forgone the dirty BK8 money in lieu of a decent sponsor. Anyway I won’t be buying a shirt with that sheet on the front and urge others to do the same.

Would be interested to know the rationale behind the company motto "BIGGEST AND MOST TRUSTED". That's got to be backed up by some kind of quantitative evidence, surely?

Sales figures / market share in their home market would be my guess. I'd also suspect - but this is pure guesswork - that "most trusted" simply refers to their position as a market leader.

This is a seriously bad move. It's one thing to sell your best player for a massive profit, but another thing entirely to lose any sense of moral credibility for the sake of a few £.
