We've stopped being so rigid and now making Crotia really think about how they defend, need to be doing that much more.

Surprised they are not allowing drinks break in this heat. Need to think of player's wellbeing.

??

It’s only 27C. If a professional athlete can’t function in 81F weather, they should pursue table tennis.

Professional job in the end.

Would make some changes for Scotland though- don't think the Trippier experiment really worked and meant our left sided attack was a bit blunted. Also might take Mount out for Grealish.

....and here are some photos and a video to see what people are outraged about. Good ol' S*n.😀

I thought this was an interesting quote-

‘I feel physically sick having watched this in real time.’ I don’t know why The Sun didn’t print the rest of the quote though-

‘I was too drunk/stupid/lazy/fascinated to make my own decision to switch off’.

If you remember we had drinks breaks during each half in our last PL season.

So which of the top 6 are going to buy Kalvin Phillips?

I know which EPL side who won't! 😊

The perfect choice.

Not so keen myself, I'd change "Cambria" to "Anglia" and go with Men of Harlech instead.

not with that line up we are not...out of form sterling over jack grealish, walker over james. And playing a right back at left back when you have two decent left backs who are in form is utter stupidity.

Maybe Southgate does know what's he's doing 😉

Sterling MOTM for me, slightly ahead of Phillips. Walker was poor though, as was Kane.

Have to admit (sadly) that the Ipswich reject had a very decent game and came across well also in the interview. One can only pray that he (or Ben White) can keep out that vastly overrated donkey from United when he's deemed fit again.

No, the Trippier thing doesn't work. He plays left back like any other right back plays it. Would he get in the Chelsea or Man Utd teams at left back? Course not. He also only tended to make overlap runs when he knew he was unlikely to get the ball and was a little bit more reluctant when the ball was on - which is what you get from a player not truly comfortable in the role.

I heard the comments about his tournament experience... I guess that explains that loose back header he played.

Agreed. But I thought that was during the lock-down games.

What difference does that make to the temperature?

It doesn’t. I think we’re discussing something closer to fitness levels.

80 degrees F is not hot. Professional athletes should not be struggling at that temperature.

Sadly seems Martin skeletonburger has replaced Krul as Dutch number one accoring to the gravevine

... Somewhat understandable given how poor Krul has been for them and all but it does suck

Trippier definitely didn’t seem to work, he did not do anything wrong, but we looked unbalanced.  I thought Mount played well.
