Local Archant paper taking the piss....

Recommended Posts

Not sure if this has been mentioned

but the Ipswich Evening Standard? (Archant) had a great piece yesterday regardinging us or more to the point Worthless and Delia.
They are campaigning for us to keep Worthy!
Few extracts for those interested:
"Its a rare quality these days,to take a large amount of money and waste most of it while being supported by your board of Directors in the face of mass protest, but he''s doing it and managing to survive."
"Who else but the poker faced one could shell out £250000 for the anonymous Simon Charlton and get away with it? Or replace the Divisions brightest striker with a player not good enough for WBA and dress it up as a good move? Only Worthington"
etc etc etc
FFS Munby/Delia do the right thing

FAO moderators: is it possible to get hold of this article??

The sad thing is most of it is True. Worthy has wasted a lot of money on players who can''t play but i hardly think they can moan at Earnshaw. He''s had what 1 or 2 Games with us and isn''t match fit. When it is he''ll hit them in from anywhere!

Oh dear, beginning to get your propaganda from Ipswich, where did you get the quotes from?

Also 150 to 200 is not a ''mass protest''.
Sorry to appear a bit dim, Squit, but where''s the mention of protest and 150/200?  Or are you referring to another thread?
Its in the bit PR is quoting.

And thank you for proving my first point in the ''The problems being a WO'' thread.
