Quite right. I think VAR would have cancelled that.

Don't think it's made much difference. Swansea look ordinary and why anyone wants us to sign Grimes is beyond me. He's not a Premier League footballer

No chance VAR overturns that.

It's what led up to it.

But both feet are making the challenge. A fraction before my last screenshot. Still 2 feet

Look further back than that (from this angle). The Swansea player is looking at chasing the Brentford player down, and catches the heel accidentally. This causes , with momentum, an ugly looking challenge.

A two footed challenge implies intent and maliciousness , not as a result of an accident, which this was.

Well the 3 best teams have been promoted, you can't ask for more than that.

Interesting close season now where additions and players leaving will be key for all of us.

Think we will finish above Brentford but they thoroughly deserve their chance.

God be praised we don’t have to see Steve Coopers face again.

I think Brentford did very similar to how we did against Boro - took a 2-0 lead inside the first 20 mins, then dominated the remainder of the game.

Congratulations to Brentford FC - the best of the rest. Better still there’s only two places to avoid relegation next season I hope 😋

Don't be so sure, reports he's about to quit Swansea and rock up at Palace.

Not looking good for Swansea next season... taken from the BBC website:

"Cooper has only a year to run on his Liberty Stadium deal and there has already been speculation over his future, with managerless Crystal Palace believed to be among his admirers.

Ayew, Swansea's talisman up front and their top scorer for the last two seasons, sees his lucrative contract expire next month.

It would be a shock if he is still around next season, while Woodman, Marc Guehi and Hourihane are all heading back to their parent clubs after loan spells.

Then there are the likes of Roberts and Matt Grimes, who have only a year remaining on their respective deals and may therefore be in the shop window.

On top of all that, there will be no more Premier League parachute payments following Swansea's relegation in 2018."
