Well you say Emi’s primarily a RW/RM but as Norwich supporters I think we are all well aware of exactly how he operates - the truth is that his role here was far more free than that, and you could expect to see him pop up anywhere - In fact I struggle to think of an attacking player of that quality who was so good defensively too, so he’ll help you out at both ends of the pitch. He’s certainly not a classic wide right player if that’s what you think. So providing Grealish stays it sounds like you’re going to have 2 players doing the same sort of thing there - which may or may not work, Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard for England being an example. Sounds like you’re significantly strengthening your squad though for sure, just as believe we will do too.

Yeah like grealish but if you ask most Villa fans he is a LW

Could be fun if your full-backs like overlaps. At the same time, it'll need a tackle machine in the middle of the park for it to really stick, otherwise you could be exceptionally open down the middle of the park, for all Buendia's workrate when defending. We suffered quite badly from that in our previous top-flight season.

I would put good money that Grealish is off somewhere.

Grealish would be a terrible signing for Norwich. He only ever passes as a last resort and takes far too many touches. Maybe Farke could coach him into improving his workrate and getting his head up and picking a pass through to Pukki. I guess he'd be worth a gamble for £1.6M or so...

Birmingham Mail website seems to say he's signed a five-year contract. This is very good news for us as it means, if he continues to improve, that anyone buying him from Villa is going to pay properly, and we then get that 10% sell-on. Even if he doesn't, we can use it to gain some extra cash off Villa in the same way we paid off Getafe.

Rumoured at £75,000 per week that £19.5 million, can’t blame him
