Would have to see possible new designs before getting behind a change. Personally though I don't really think it needs a change at all, maybe, as many said just an update of the lion and ball.

I hope not I really like our badge. I'm not one of these who ever gets excited for disappointed at kits or if we use a funny coloured away kit or if the home kit is the wrong shade of yellow etc, I'm really not that bothered, but I love our current badge and I hope they leave it alone.

I may be in the minority but personally I could go for dropping the city coat of arms that’s referenced with the castle and lion.

A simple well designed canary on a shield would make a nice upgrade while paying homage to older plainer badges.

That said I like the design you are touting purple as an upgrade of the current version. The current looks awful in comparison. That lion, Jesus, like the artist had to finish it in 15 secs. Its head looks like a Bart Simpson ghost.

Totally agree - zero wrong with current badge. The 'canary' on Purple's variant doesn't even look like a Canary!

I don't like the idea of changing the crest, the current design is simple, instantly recognisable and pretty striking. As has been said, it doesn't need any text or the year we were founded or anything, simple.

I didn't like what they did with the third kit, I understand that the current trend is to essentially have a monochrome badge where the colour can be changed for away and third kits (Liverpool, Spurs, now everyone is doing it) but I don't like it. The yellow and green are as important to our crest as the Canary is in my opinion, and should always be there. It's what makes our kits unmistakably Norwich.

Like the present one, but if it has to be changed, I can't really see why the badge couldn't just be a canary on a ball, with no other symbols. It is clear, it identifies us, it is us.  The lion and the castle just complicate it.
