Transfer Rumour Thread Season 2021/22

Recommended Posts

If we sell Todd we can pay for Messi for 4 months.  Takes us to the next transfer window. Could also have got us to 35 points as well!  Must be worth a punt. 🤔😆😉

Yes. Definite misuse of the word there, but for me the sound of the word always lends itself to uncertaintly. Being on the edge.Coming to the end

Very true but you know what I mean, I should have just said he might not have gone back to Greece 😅

Even then, as he travelled from Greece, via Ireland he'd still be required to self-isolate for 5 days once arriving in Norwich. It is easy to arrange a medical in Greece and he'd have to go back for his stuff at some point you'd imagine!

If everything isn't completed quickly he won't actually be out of isolation by the time the Liverpool game is played.

But he has entered the country from a place which he doesn't need to isolate?

I have a friend who is in Mexico. This is now going red so he looked at going to America as it looks like people won't have to isolate when traveling from the states. Problem is they go back to countries you have been in over the last 10 days and you have to  go with the worst. He would have to spend 10 days in the states to clear Mexico of his history.

Interesting video from Christian Purslow of Aston Villa - seems to suggest they already have Grealish's replacements in Buendia, Bailey and Ings... Not sure anyone has told them only one of them can take his place due to only being allowed 11 players on the field...

He came from Greece, he had a thirst for Norwich...

Brilliant! If only Fulham hadn’t gone down, we could follow it with “he scores goals at Craven Cottage”.

I looked it up: "talk foolishly, babble."

I wonder if I ever get the opportunity to use it on this message board? 😁

Ireland is however on the British Isles 😉

The term "British Isles" has caused plenty of political friction since Irish Independence in1922 between Ireland and the United Kingdom.

The term was officially disavowed by the Government of Ireland in 2005.

And the Argentinian government officially don't recognise that the Falklands are called that...

…well, given we are in England, it still stands for the vast majority of us 🙂

Exactly.

Therein stands the above-mentioned friction in a nutshell.

Not really.  You’re on a Norwich website talking about NCFC. Oddly enough, the Irish government holds no jurisdiction here.  A definition of the British Isles is: 5 nations, England, Scotland, Wales, N Ireland and Ireland.  In the same way, GB is still in Europe, just not in the EU - it’s geographical fact.

This is a thread about transfer rumours, not Irish/British history….

You see I just don’t get this, there are always people on here slagging off the English, UK, etc but this is a fan forum for an English team and I would guess most of us are local or have local roots/affiliations.If you dislike the English because of historical events , understandable in many circumstances I know, then why bother posting on here or supporting NCFC?

@TheGunnShow can't remember where we did this dance, but you were right that Tzolis was the one we would push the boat out for!

Find it fascinating as I wasn't sure we'd keep going back in. Wish I had the same level of prescience regarding my gut instinct- you'd think i would - i've enough gut!
