20/21 season visualised through a racing bar chart

Imagine somebody told you 4 games in that Norwich would break the all time point record for the club.

Imagine somebody told you 8 games in that Pukki would: Miss 5 of the remaining 38 games; score additional 24 times; not make it into Norwich's top 3 players this season!

What a year.

After 4 games, the common view on here was that Reading were uncatchable, Farke was lucky to still be in the job, Pukki not what he once was and Cantwell and Buendia not willing to play for the shirt.

Staggeringly brilliant season.

How many of us thought, with Lewis and Godfrey leaving and rumours swirling around Aarons, Buendia and Cantwell that we'd be sat here revelling in the situation we are with all 3 having played big parts this season. Very pleased Webber and Farke managed to get it together so quickly after a sluggish start - Farke has to take a lot of credit for that!

It's an excellent point you make but TBF, I think a lot of people were saying that Reading's position was a fluke.

I can't remember (and can't be arsed to check 😉) how Farke's first season started, but wouldn't it be a nice change if next time, we get off to a flying start?

Mind you, then we wouldn't be able to laugh at the pant wettery later in the season.
