AJ 1,356 Posted May 8, 2021 His goal was a funny one, cross that eluded everyone. Still dishing out the goods at 38!
crab man 178 Posted May 8, 2021 He's 39 next week as well, pretty amazing really. Wonder if he will give it another season. Their manager said he was struggling to play twice a week and was often missing training sessions.
Ward 3 476 Posted May 8, 2021 Give him a season in league 1, give some of the younger players some pointers and nurture them. Would be good for Cambridge to keep him 1 more year. What a baller tho. Im sure he'll be desperate to play ipsht
kick it off 2,062 Posted May 9, 2021 Rumour I heard was that when Lambert joined Ipswich, Wes texted someone within NCFC with just the words "Judas ****". I believe that to be true given where I heard it from. I think he would be delighted to have another chance to stick it to the scum even though Lambert is gone now. Ken Hairy 4,272 Posted May 9, 2021 I think Cambridge should keep him on next season, even if he can only play in 2 games......
Paint Me Yellow 200 Posted May 9, 2021 (edited) Depends if he wants to carry on at all. He might just consider getting Cambridge promoted to League 1 to be his swansong as a football player. Edited May 9, 2021 by Paint Me Yellow
