If we played the Binners tomorrow...

Recommended Posts

Now , for the record , I’m not known for  wild prophesies. That said  it occurs to me that the gulf between the ability of the two teams TODAY is as wide as I can ever remember it .

If we played them tomorrow I reckon it would be double figures . Absolutely no doubt in my mind .

We'd certainly be capable of getting 4+ goals and Krul could bring a good book out with him beings Ipswich haven't scored for 10 something hours and are very sh(i!)ot shy!

I think they would up their game and park the bus

What with Capn Fist pump at the back? They could park 10 buses and still be hopeless.

No doubt there would be a crowd of them gathered outside Carrow Road waving dollar notes.

Meaningless piffle! They were better than us 40 years ago. That's what really matters...

Come on GBP, that's exactly why 'seeing things through yellow and green spectacles' was invented. 10? You're dreaming.

8 at the most

How many goals we were theoretically were going to score, the deluded binner Alex Griffin would still say the "best" team lost.

Well Capn Fistpump said we couldn’t get near them when we won 3 nil so presumably we have to get at least 5 up before they admit they are cr4p?

PS I’d offer them a star for every goal they score . They would probably take it too.

I think we can be reasonably sure they’d score a big fat 0, that’s for sure.

I reckon Agent C0-0k would see fit for them to score a few own goals for us. 🙂😉

Sadly the powers that be have decided that the group stage of the Papa Johns trophy will avoid any local rivalries...otherwise I'd love our U23's to have a crack at them. Reckon even they'd take them to the cleaners

I absolutely agree. In reality it would be truly embarrassing for them.

On the other hand, I would actually fear for the safety of our players.

Is this what you mean W? I think it would be their only chance of scraping a nil-nil

I'd offer them a statue for every shot on target they had.

Depends really doesn't it, as another poster quite rightly noted on another threat that when we're bad we're bad but when we're good we're really bloody good, it's hard work playing like we do and while it can bring great reward there is a large degree of risk involved and things can completely fall apart if a few players aren't on their game

. If we went into a game with them and gave a top performance we could easily knock 10 past them, maybe more as it's a derby and we'd be motivated more than any other team who plays them but if we gave a poor performance we'd still probably win but by the odd goal instead

I'm not so sure, I'd wager any of our signings from abroad who wasn't here when we last played them haven't even heard of them 😉

There's a gap.... top left corner, plenty of room for Toddy to bend it a la Sheffield Wednesday 😀....

We would probably put out our under 18’s and still win and keep a clean sheet.

Hopefully will get them in a League or FA Cup fixture.

Indeed! You wouldn't expect them to park it properly would you?

They'd have to win a 1st and 2nd round match first..... Unlikely

Haha! If they cut the wages bill a bit they might be able to afford one of these:
