Will we be Champions?

Watford are likely to suffer from the same 'hangover' as we did .... and if they haven't celebrated already then they soon will.

We aren't up yet!

I don't honestly think we'll catch you though, unless you lose all 3. Unlikely.

Often times in football, a great high precedes a disappointing low. Look at Swansea after they beat us, or us ourselves once promotion was confirmed.

At any rate I don't believe Watford will win all three of their final games, so one win will do it for us. I'd dearly love for them to be able to do it at Carrow Road next week, but if Watford want to somehow drop points against Millwall I guess QPR will do.

Not so sure as most of you QPR have won 5 out of last 7.  Reading may still be in running for Play Off spot, if they get a worse result on Saturday than Barnsley it will be over.  Favourites to beat Reading they are struggling but will one victory be enough?  And onto Barnsley who should have booked a Play Off spot but will still want to beat City.

Lets get it done tomorrow with a win.

Well don't we need 5 more points and that's that, we can't be caught.

It's a bit nervy, and I for one think we have a slightly tougher run in. We fave the teams currently in 8th 7th and 6th. All for reading to play for. And tbh, QPR as well. Barnsley aren't mugs this year but I hope they will be on the beach and rest for play offs

Watford have draw specialist Millwall, who'd I expect them to beat. They then have Brentford and Swansea, who again, may be on the beach to rest for play off

Personally I'd hate to see us lose it from now.it would be similar to how Leeds lost to us last time we won.

We will win the next 2 no problem. Now the promotion is behind us, we've had a few days to get over the hangover. Watford will take their foot off the gas once they win 2moro.

Much as I trust Andrew I'm still worried our defence just is no where near as strong without Gibson and Giannoulis, although Hanley has been as immense as ever

Not sure,  hope so , but must say I'm not sure Watford will drop any points so two wins from next two games please  and we can all stop wondering. Its been a very  enjoyable season,  so let's put the cherry on top of the cake.

You can still get 17/2 on Watford to win the title; about 1/4 of what it was before we lost to Bournemouth, but still pretty long odds. They're 5 points behind with 3 to play so it's massively in our favour.

The answer is yes.

Its strange but in 2018/19 I was simply happy in getting promoted but this time the title seems to be more important as we have so deserved it, although I know it makes no difference for next season at all really.

Dispassionate bookies odds are a pretty good guide to say the least , especially this late in the season . Bet 365 paid out on us as champions a few weeks ago , granted that was a 10 point clear offer.

We were cruising serenely to the title until that Giannoulis sending off v Bournemouth. Then Watford possibly caught us post celebrations . They only beat us 1-0 and don’t forget  had deservedly  lost 1-0 to Luton before that . I haven’t seen anything at all in our performances that make me think we won’t reassert ourselves against teams who currently  aren’t nearly as good as Bournemouth and Watford anyway .

Sky bet had Watford at 20/1 to win the league before we played them. Tonight its 8/1 .
