Millwall v Swansea

Recommended Posts

Just in case some are not aware, this game kicks off in just a few minutes if you wish to tune in and see if Millwall make for an exciting afternoon.

Stupidly I bet on Millwall to win, but I think it’s going to be 1-1, which would set things up nicely in a couple of hours.

C’mon you Lions!

Btw Millwall need the win to keep their playoff hopes alive, so there is real incentive for them. Cagey start, with someone nicking it in the second half?

Clearly your fault 😂

Probably more due to the ex-L1pswich keeper having his feet planted in the ground like a tree! 😅

Haha. I sent that on 45 mins and 45 seconds, ball was near half way line. Still stand by the game is awfull and swansea wont make top 6.

Swansea have scored a second, all over

I guess we’d better get on with losing all of our remaining games then!

No promotion party today then.  Probably good in a way as after Watford winning last night, the team can focus just on getting a win.

The players will want the title, no doubt

All being well, and assuming we’ll win a potential banana skin today, then it’ll be far more of an event for us all watching on Sky next Saturday night - unless of course Brentford draw or lose later, and Swansea fail to win midweek!

There's been a lot of discussion about the quality of the Championship this season but this is a game between a team on the fringe of the play offs until recently and a team challenging for the top 2. It's absolutely awful.

We need Swansea and Brentford to start winning games so they still have a chance of catching Watford. They'll never catch us, but that will mean the chances of them still being interested when they play Watford will be much higher. Swansea are now 10 behind Watford with a game in hand - win that midweek and beat Watford and they have a 4 point gap to breach, and they know that Watford still have to play Brentford and us.

Watford also have to go to Luton next week - their sworn rivals, who will be desperate to stop them winning. Watford's away record isn't that great.

I think second place is still up for grabs.

No chance, they're all just playing for who plays who in the play offs now, us and Watford are both Premier League clubs right now.
