Went to a couple of reserve games in 69/70 but first league game was 70/71 Sheff Wed at home aged 9, left at half time as I was bored, didn't miss anything as it finished 0-0.

1985 Milk Cup Final aged 11.

Strange day, went with an ex pro as I was mates with his son, had my stolen off my head by a Sunderland fan and there no old Bill to be seen anywhere, well unless they were undercover 😬

Home v Pompey in Division 2, 1986. I’d have been nine, can remember the City stand being a building site following the fire and for some reason Pompey’s bright red socks. And the River End being enormous! We sat in the family enclosure. 

We won 2-0 on our way to the title but no idea on the scorers.

1953/54 season but I have no real recollection of the match or the opponents. Even before this I used to get in free after halftime when us kids waited for Russel Allison to open the gates.
