......and Smith must score.

O/T Luton v Swansea

Recommended Posts

Did the referee pick it up in midfield, skillful dribbling to take it forward and then a twenty yard screamer?😀

We need Swansea to win.

Even their own supporters admit their league position is unjustified. Dodgy penalties and an abundance of luck has put them where they are, along with the loan signing of Hourihane.

They will be the ideal team to go up with City, then hopefully Brentford and Watford will bottle the playoffs, although it would be nice to see Brentford in the PL.

Sky have just shown the top of the Championship table and not bothered to show top spot!

Norwich just too good to be included?

Brentford don't have a game in hand.

As it currently stands Brentford have played the same number of games as us and are 10 points behind and Swansea 7 points behind unless Luton can get a point or three off them before this game ends.

A win for us tomorrow and it will be of no consequence what anybody trying to chase us down does this weekend.

Swansea certainly riding their luck, this can’t continue in the last 11 games for them, my money is on Brentford for second spot!

Swansea have maxed out as far as I can see. They have no more to offer than where they are atm. They are drying up and riding their luck. Whether they can maintain it until the end of the season, to get up, remains to be seen , but it's going to take other teams around them to fall away for them to go up.

Sadly this is the sort of kind of game I think we'll get this season from here on. With no crowds mid table sides like Luton in this situation ,who would normally be spurred on by their fans to go for an equalizer probably lack the desire and intensity to get one

Bold performance from Luton, Swansea fortunate and not getting the penalty.  Complaints by Swansea of playing rota finding it tough not going to get any easier two toughies coming up will do well to keep second.

Let's see what Cardiff do to Watford?

Not at all convinced of Swansea's promotion credentials -although persistent luck is one of them.

Swansea were **** poor. Luton were the better team but just couldn't break through (whilst staying onside). A good three points but hardly a performance to strike fear into their rivals. Similar to Brentford yesterday. If Watford beat Cardiff and play well you'd have to rate them as our biggest threat.

Watford are better than Swansea and Brentford...but I believe their last 2 games ate against those 2 sides...that could be some last couple of weeks!

Swansea are 'winning ugly' at the moment. But they have accumulated 13 points over their last 6 games which, if continued for their final 11, would get them to 93 points. Should we continue our recent form, we'd reach 109 points, and of course Watford would reach 93/94 points too. I don't think any of those things are going to happen. We just need to win our own games, and I think 4 more wins will be plenty.

Worth pointing out that if we lose tomorrow then Swans could only be 4 behind us by the time we play on Wednesday, Watford too.

I can’t see us lousing it up but important we all keep our feet on the ground as our rivals will keep grinding results out I’m sure.

They do look ordinary....however it should be a concern for us that without Buendia ,we lost to them

Yes, us having played three games in the week with them just the previous weekend had nowt to do with it, of course.  Brentford got that benefit yesterday, at Blackburn.; it happens

We couldnt beat Millwall a few days prior without him either

Fortunately we're not without him that often...but when we are we ofyen dont win.  As good a team as we are at this level, we are very reliant upon him

It's hardly surprising that a team moulds around a player with that much talent. We were reliant on Maddison, but adjusted once he left. We can do it again. Of course, it would help if we can pull another Emi out of the bag.
