PurpleCanary 5,554 Posted March 7, 2021 I haven't looked at runs-in but in their first 23 games Watford were averaging 1.739 points per game (they drew a lot). In the 12 since the average has risen to 2.16 ppg. A right battle between second and fourth though! If this table forecast proves to be correct then we would need 9 more points. The Naughton dive became even more bizarre when the ref that gave it officiated us and seemed to have a very high bar for what was considered a foul. pete 318 Posted March 7, 2021 Given our run in and how we are performing 103 points is disappointing. Can't see where we lose 6 points in last 11, unless drop points to Watford, Bournemouth at home which seems unlikely given their away form. Barnsley away might just cost us two points, unhappy with not posting record points haul. The rest of games just cannon fodder. Going unbeaten last 11 a probability will see new record for losses in a season. With Ayew's dubious stuttering,stop-start method on penalties it seems madness for keepers to start diving before he's even kicked the ball.
