BroadstairsR 2,163 Posted March 4, 2021 (edited) Carlton Morris proved to epitomise the bread and butter of our Academy. Good player. Not quite there for our team but useful income from his loans and eventual sale. We look after our young, as opposed to the ITFC model apparently, but, at the end of the day, it need be a business and Morris is one of a few now who have commanded a fee and are successful at a lower level. The occasional Cantwell is a bonus. Our Category 1. status means we attract the Ben Godfreys and the rest. It's called being self-sufficient and it does seem to be working at the moment.
