2 out of 3 losing today is better than we could ever have hoped, Swansea in particular given their games in hand

.

And Swansea have a tricky set of fixtures coming up.

Happy enough with that - two of the closest three sides losing.  I have said all along I’d prefer the Swans to falter out of them and the Bees, so I’m not complaining.

We just need to do our job tomorrow...

Swansea losing is the big one. Barnsley coming on the rails is interesting as they're putting pressure on the likes of Reading and Bournemouth. Gotta credit Brentford for coming back though - losing a goal in the opening minute with a goalie schnitzer and still turning around shows they're up for the fight.

Beat Wycombe tomorrow, then we'll put all the pressure on them. They'll have to come at us at some point.

I don't think there are two sides in this division who can overtake us. Nobody is stringing long runs together at the moment. Do the job tomorrow and get any kind of result against Brentford and I think it will be highly highly unlikely that we will get overturned by anyone, let alone twice.

Around 55 mins Swansea get spawny pen and Bees equalise.  City not playing go for walk expecting to see Bees and Swans close the gap.  Well i'll be blowed Bristol C now on the up with Pearson.  Bees get narrow win over cannon fodder.  Can see the opposition falling away provided we can do the business tomorrow.

Yes that’s why I said the other day to FTW our next five after Wycombe could make our season as both Brentford and Swansea have a hard set of fixtures.

Shame about the Stoke result but we can’t expect to see all the other results go in our favour. Swansea and Watford have both lost though, and victory tomorrow will now see us go 10pts clear of the playoff zone

Swansea are flatter than a flat thing.

Watford are feeling the pressure and have an awful away record

Brentford can't keep a clean sheet.

The only thing that can stop us, is our mindset

The others are stumbling, we just need to keep grinding out results. As the games run out its harder to make up the deficit. Points in the bag are everything.

Lets hope missing Cantwell does change our flow... they are the bottom team after all...

....I hope you mean doesn’t.

Imo it shouldn’t, Todd’s missed several games this season.

I didn't think that BBC's fake news extended to football headlines !

Tomorrow is all about the result, no matter how scrappy the game would take a win anyway possible.

I noticed this the other day too, it's a real stinker of a fixtures list for March.

Often, when you look back on the season at results you'll see a promoted team has won 0-4 along the way... #justsaying 😉

Swansea  falling away despite their games in hand.

Really as good as set of results as we could have hoped for.

No complacency or cobwebs tomorrow.

Important that both Watford and Swansea stopped in their tracks. Brentford are still wobbly. Nice, professional performance tomorrow please.

Yes, I do think we are massively improved when both Emi and Todd are on the pitch though. They both have very good movement and must be an absolute nightmare for the opposition defence. It is bad enough trying to deal with one player like that but when both are there and on form, and Teemu is playing, I think we are pretty much unstoppable at Championship level.
