Taking feigning injury to new levels

Recommended Posts

Not as good as Roberto Rojas in Chile pretending to be hit by a firework. He cut himself with a blade he had hidden in his goalie glove and tried pretending that a firework hit him in a World Cup qualifier, but was caught and banned for life.

There's a great cure for diving. Scrap penalties. Or just punch their f-u-n-king lights out.

In the case of Rojas, it was an attempt to get the game abandoned as it was a WC qualifier.

Blimey. Cheato extraordinaire

Suppose the worldly-wise pundits will say ‘Yep, there was definitely contact’ or ‘there were fireworks in the stadium’ etc

Never understood pundits (like Alan Shearer on several occasions) who use the phrase "He had every right to go down there...".

No.

Only when it's physically impossible for you to stay on your feet do you have a anything like a "right" to go down.
