I still don't get why they think this exists. Didnt Lambert still have 2 to 3 years on his existing contract? Why would he sign an additional two or three year extension agreeing not to be paid anything if they don't get promoted.

Well it's down to either Eddie Howe or Frank Lampard then. Other (serious) suggestions from some of them.

On the subject of new managers im glad we've played Cardiff and Bristol City twice. McCarthy and Pearson will certainly make them hard teams to beat.

I've just nipped over to TWTD. They really do think they are an attractive proposition still for a manager. There is talk of Paul Cook. Or Kenny Jackett if Cook goes to Portsmouth. Even those level of managers aren't going to want it unless Marcus waves a 5 year contract and bags of money at them.

 

They should try a youngish manager who has had success in the lower leagues like that guy from Shrewsbury...what was his name again?
