Didnt Lambert still have 2 to 3 years on his existing contract? Why would he sign an additional two or three year extension agreeing not to be paid anything if they don't get promoted. splendidrush 698 Posted February 22, 2021 They won't be too disappointed down the road, they're already talking about Klinsmann and Tierry Henry......🤣

Move Klose 303 Posted February 22, 2021 On the subject of new managers im glad we've played Cardiff and Bristol City twice. McCarthy and Pearson will certainly make them hard teams to beat.
Christoph Stiepermann 1,120 Posted February 22, 2021 I don't understand the rationale behind the decisions to keep giving these average merry-go-round managers work. They must interview so well

I'm going to find it quite amusing when they finally bin Lambert and someone like Steve Evans or Neil Harris rocks up....

Drazen Muzinic 1,421 Posted February 22, 2021 I've just nipped over to TWTD. They really do think they are an attractive proposition still for a manager. There is talk of Paul Cook. Or Kenny Jackett if Cook goes to Portsmouth. Even those level of managers aren't going to want it unless Marcus waves a 5 year contract and bags of money at them. They should try a youngish manager who has had success in the lower leagues like that guy from Shrewsbury...what was his name again?
