This is the difference

We are championship vets. It’s our specialist league. We are the SAS of the championship.

the other teams are just pretenders. Big pressure on them. We’ve been there and done it before.

A couple of weeks ago Brentford were the Force of the Division. I think you need to insert the word Cadet in there now.

Daniel trying to submit his preferred starting line up to total exhaustion.  Tuesday night same team for another 90 minutes.  Crazy management

We are seven points clear mate. DF has more knowledge in his little finger nail than you have in your brain.

So much criticism for Farke when were top with 64 from 31.

If we were second I reckon he'd be strung up outside the castle 🏰🙃

His best players have another game in 3 days to prepare for and he has some very good players on the bench. Use them.

Yes, perhaps drop the club a line and make sure Daniel Farke doesn't miss out on your expert advice.

Some of our fans are an arrogant lot at times - 64 points from 31 games over an absolute slog of a season, including an injury crisis to beat all other injury crises, and people still think they know better than him when it comes to substitutions.

Thought Dimi was excellent today.

Second half was pretty turgid and we should've had more but excellent result in context of the weekend.

If you think it would have been more comfortable with you in charge I think that's a stretch.

Although we were poor second half, it never really felt to me that they would score at any point. The only hope they had was winning something from a high ball into the box, and we don't have anyone on the bench who could have done much better than what we had on already.

Bizarre game management again. Great coach but I cannot fathom him thinking when it comes to this.

Sorry but why?

Even if you disagree there was absolutely nothing bizarre about that.

Wow. On Canary call we now have Pukki was lucky to score...and Butler is joining in.

Im out. I’m going to enjoy the fact we won a game of football we deserved to win, that we’re 7 points clear at the top of the championship and more than likely getting promoted.

I think that Birmingham also have a game in 3 days. They'll be as knackered as we are, and we have a fresh Hernandez and Placheta. I know who I'd rather be.....

With all the other results going in our favour, this result is massive.

It's like a 6-pointer victory against 4 other teams.

Table suddenly looks the way it did a month or so ago.

I would ask him what was the difference between the first half and second though. Is it tiredness? Mental tiredness? (Obviously bad finishing didn't help)

I know Rotherham are in a relegation battle but they always are so the pressure was on us as the jefes of this league, to provide the excellence. And we did for the first half bar scoring.

Game after game with no crowds is like a band playing their best in an empty pub.

No one is disputing Farke is a great Manager but cannot understand the logic in not bringing on subs earlier, it was obvious that a few players were drained. We hung on to win against a team currently third from bottom.  Going to Birmingham Tuesday on that pitch will be a struggle

It's a football forum for discussion you berk. Someone disagrees with your opinion so we get Glenn Roeder 'missed your tenure as England manager' response. If you don't want to read opinions you disagree with on the football, can I suggest any other site on the Internet?

I guess that's this tv football for you.

In the stadium today the supporters would have been awesome. In the stadium it's all about getting those three points. The final whistle would have heralded massive celebrations with supporters singing "we're going to win the league".

The final whistle just heralds relief and then moans on ifollow.

**** I miss it.

Ill take Farkes commensense over anyone on here thanks

Wahey, here come the fundamentalists! I'll be sure to go to confession for questioning Farke's papal infallibility. Tell me which altar I should sacrifice a lamb at in his honour.

Yeah, prevented by our players taking one of the 97 chances we generated first half you mean?

Or are you moaning about Farke's substitutes again?

Do you not think our team, and indeed our coach, isn't better than having to cling on against a side we tore apart in the first half?

Sounds like you're being a bit hard on a manager and side that has got us to the top. Bloody pant pissers.

I'm a glass half full kind of guy, but...

This seems a bit stupid, if you want some subs to come that makes you negative?

What's the point in having a forum if one can't give an opinion...

Just wonder if he knows he's going to make a couple of changes Tuesday so is keeping Hernandez etc fresh?

Notice all these posts supporting the lack of subs didn't appear until after the final whistle had gone!

It vindicated Farke's decision making
