Reading v Bees

Anyone else thinking the same pattern is going to play out...

Reading 1-0 up, we get excited and then Tooney bangs in 8 or something mad.

Personally, I think lets see how they deal with a loss or  at the least missing the chance to go clear with just a draw. Maybe it has zero effect, maybe it brings up the pressure of what happened last season. More teams in the mix the better I think, rather than it just being a shoot out between us and Swansea potentially.

Edited to say, I mean a shoot out for second place only.

There's no arguing with Brentford's quality but pressure is a funny old thing, especially when we get to the business end of the season. Who knows how it'll play in team's minds. We , at least, have been there before and succeeded.

No way! Not with Swansea in the same spot. It’s currently out of our hands so we want one of Brentford or Swansea to drop points - or both.

I get the argument for Brentford winning if they were already clear at the top and it was a scrap for second - or if we were top - but absolutely not in the spot we’re in at the moment!

...its not out of our hands...swansea still have to play brentford again...and we still have to play brentford

Blast.
It was likely that Brentford were going to come back from going behind.

Jesus, we've still got 18 games to go. It's a bit early to start picking out 2 games, isn't it?

Whilst it’s getting really annoying watching Brentford do this every match at the moment, people are talking like there’s 2/3 matches left, not 18!

Well, for what it's worth, we're 7 points clear of 4th, same games played.

So that's 3 goals scored for Brentford from 5 shots total.

What a signing Toney has proven to be for Brentford.  He's way clear at the top of the scoring charts and now with his 2 assists tonight, he tops the assist charts too.

I think they've played them twice already. 1-1 draws.
