Drmic is leaving the building!

Recommended Posts

Pity. Could have been a success. Something happened.

That it's got to the stage when the first thing we think of when losing a player is ££££'s rather than goals means that he has gone the way of a few others I suppose.

All clubs have them.

Even if we are paying all or nearly all of his wages it makes sense as if he is playing and starts scoring goals it means we are far more likely to off load him in the Summer.

Unless he breaks his leg / suffers a serious injury. That could be said for any player though

Makes sense for him to get some football.

Had a chuckle at Farke claiming they still have a good relationship in the presser today- not sure Drmic agrees.

I don't think he's been in the building much lately anyway, didn't he head back to Switzerland or something after he got frozen out from the first XI?

Excellent, hope he does really well and scores loads and we sell him in the summer!

Not sure what the Croatian rap scene is like though.

Im glad he didnt go to another Championship team too.

It would have been better for us had he strengthened a team that wasn’t a competitor and hopefully cost our competitors a few points

Could have played apart this season,

Wrongly frozen out IMO.

Pukki isnt the 18/19 Pukki and neither Idah nor Hughill are exactly knocking the door down to replace him.

We just don’t know what happened between them though

Wasn’t it a 2 year deal so he’s gone in the summer anyway? We just want shot of him now?

His contract is until summer of 2022.

Most interesting thing from the article on his departure was that we now have a total of 18 players out on loan.  EIGHTEEN!  well it keeps Neeyul in a job.

Most are youth players though being loaned for their development, the only ones I'd count as 'sellable' are;

Timm Klose
Philip Heise
Louis Thompson
Tom Trybull
Josip Drmic

I'd say all 5 of those are unlikely to feature for us ever again so will be trying to earn summer moves
