Saint Canary 0 Posted January 27, 2006 I am hoping a striker will sign before the window shuts but I am hoping it is not a replacement for Ashton. In that I mean, I hope we sign a small, quick/skillful striker rather than a 6 footer.Maybe then we can get our more "skillful" players like Hux and Mcveigh on the ball a lot more and then the defenders can stop launching the ball upfield because they have no 6 foot target to aim at. We have seen City play some decent football in fits and spurts this year, the Ashton goal against Plymouth for example but our defenders seem to take the easy option far too often.
