Tetteys Jig 830 Posted February 1, 2021 looks like he made his Bolton debut in that infamous game when they had no 1st team players and lost 5 nil but he stood out somewhat. Good luck to the lad, there is deffo room for him to get in our side at centre mid somewhere down the line👍

Crabbycanary3 994 Posted February 1, 2021 (edited) Jurgen Klopp probably ought to have kept his mouth shut for the first part of this. He no doubt, thought it, but needn't have said it. It doesn't show his scouting process in good light as Davies is on Liverpool's doorstep and is 25 and even the back handed compliment about the player doesn't rescue it either. On the arrival of Davies from Championship side Preston, Klopp said: "It's probably clear that in a normal transfer window, without any issues, we would not look at Preston [to see] if there's a player for us or something like that. "Since our situation got clearer and clearer - the problems we had - when we saw him we got really excited about it and thought: 'Wow.' "We see the quality and we see the potential as well because he's 25 and there's a lot to come for him." Oops - just seen this was done on another thread Edited February 1, 2021 by Crabbycanary3
rock bus 851 Posted February 1, 2021 Got to love sky sports still trying to make it sound exciting...when a total non event of a transfer window. of course that’s brilliant for us as we’ve kept all our top players and they can all just focus on earning us promotion....well played Mr Farke and Mr Webber! Feedthewolf 4,846 Posted February 2, 2021 I see Huddersfield failed in a late attempt to take Drmic on loan. Apparently the Swiss window is open for another six days, so maybe there's a club in the Swiss league who might take a punt on him? Even if we only get a nominal contribution towards his wages, surely that's got to be better than sitting on his a*se for the next six months. Looks like Leitner didn't generate any interest either, so it's back on the treadmill for him too.

Wonder if we were a bit of last chance saloon for Leitner- 8 appearances at the two clubs before us and now he's managed to get himself frozen out again here. Going to be tough one to shift. Shame because he's clearly a talent but there seems to be some serious attitude issues there.
Canarywary 106 Posted February 2, 2021 I would have been interested to see what Drmic would have done at Huddersfield. You'd have thought that if he went out on loan and performed it would have boosted his value for when we sell him. Then again, the opposite could have happened too.
