That pitch ...

Not the best but I’m sure Barnsley themselves would prefer it to be better; it’s the same for both sides and it didn’t really impact our play that much -Tettey and Rupp were poor, Onel, Dowell and Placheta not a lot better.

I think it made a massive difference. Controlling the ball is so much harder when it's bobbling around.

Didn't seem to affect Barnsley's ability to instantly control the ball, put in pin point crosses and generally win every challenge.

Don't think we can blame the pitch for our performance.

I think the groundsmen did their best with it - it had clearly been freshly ploughed at least.
