cambridgeshire canary 7,799 Posted January 22, 2021 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55762328 Decent bloke, shame about the binner past but all in all will be interesting to see him back in the Championship. If theres ever a man to keep a Championship club safe (if stuck at midtable for a decade) it's him
shefcanary 2,955 Posted January 22, 2021 Ha, ha, ha! Glad we have our two matches out of the way against them. Our rivals jobs just got a little tougher!
Alex Moss 2,167 Posted January 22, 2021 Damn. We’ve played them twice already this season.

Should be worth a visit to TWTD later 😂
lake district canary 4,830 Posted January 22, 2021 I thoroughly enjoyed his time as manager at Portaloo Rd, especially towards the end of it..... Wish him well at Cardiff, may his team frustrate our rivals as much as possible.

TheGunnShow 7,377 Posted January 22, 2021 Might be ex-Ipswich but I quite rate him as a manager. Although the fans are certainly not going to get a nodding yes-man or someone who gives a rat's a-r-s-e about PR, but he will give them a team that fights for every damned ball. He's the polar opposite of Farke regarding PR and the fans, which is why he's probably more respected as a manager rather than largely adored like Farke is. Glad we've got both those games out of the way. Middlesborough comes up soon as well, so we'll be getting rid of our second match with Warnock. Middlesborough against Cardiff now, anyone? Just going to get my telescope so I can track the ball.
Capt. Pants 5,013 Posted January 22, 2021 So much for Neil Harris saying Cardiff v Norwich wasn't a must win game! I like McCarthy and it will be interesting to see what he can do with them. Cardiff seem stuck in the dark ages so it's a good match with Mick. They're poor old side though.
horsefly 5,301 Posted January 22, 2021 So he's been promoted to the champs before Ipswich. That's going to hurt down south.
Mello Yello 2,572 Posted January 22, 2021 Wonder if Mick is going to approach Roy Keane and ask him to be his assistant?......
Bill 1,788 Posted January 22, 2021 As said, whatever points Cardiff win can only be seen as being to our advantage - and if he helps in that matter, then all the better ' far cough, you stinky binners' * " Bill showing his pathological hatred of the ever so wonderful Ippo 😉
