Neil Harris on tommorow- 'it's not a must win game'

Recommended Posts

Strange mentality I must say, starting out saying that his teams match against us is 'not a must win game' before ending it with 'it's a game we can win'. Bit of a Contradiction

Must be a rather odd thing for your players to be told..

'Don;t worry lads, we don;t have to win this match. I mean, we can win it, but hey it's not a must win it's a whatever who cares'

It seems perfectly sensible. We're top of the league. No one is expecting them to beat us so it's a free hit, but he thinks they might be able to edge it.

A draw would probably suit both teams, but I expect a result either way depending on who scores first.

Kieffer Moore might be able to get a few minutes on the pitch, which is a boost for them. But in turn, their monster CB that caused us no end of problems in the first game Morrison won't make the squad.

I'd much rather face Cardiff with a half-fit Moore against Hanley and Gibson  & Pukki against back up centre halves, than with Morrison. We have to be confident.

It has been stated two games to save his job, needs 4 points from Norwich and QPR minimum.  Not a must win certainly mustn't lose.

Perhaps just trying to take the pressure off his players. They won't expect much going into the game but if they feel like they've got nothing to lose it might give them a mental boost

Completely agree, Morrison is a real threat and more so that Moore.

Would be surprised if Moore got minuntes, it's better for them to have him fully fit for what Harris clearly sees as winnable games than risk a reoccurrence of whatever injury he had by bringing him in early.

Guess if it's still a draw with 10 to go he'll be chucked on to try and nick the points.

To be fair given our poor defending from corners and set pieces any player who can head a ball well and is tall poses a major threat to us

But also to be fair we very rarely concede more than one whole goal these days, Cambridge!
