Nuff Said 5,135 Posted January 5, 2021 I think that was the very poster I had on my wall as a kid. Probably my favourite NCFC player still. Many happy returns!

dj11 377 Posted January 5, 2021 He was was a fantastic player, but my lasting memory was when he punched out the Northampton forward, and just kept walking towards the tunnel, with the referee running after him, to send him off. 2

Crabbycanary3 994 Posted January 5, 2021 (edited) Best Keeper, by a stretch , we've had since I started watching and we have been blessed in that department. Privilege to have seen him play. Happy cake day Kev Edited January 5, 2021 by Crabbycanary3
sonyc 5,517 Posted January 5, 2021 I think he is my favourite player of all time. So good to read that he is 80 and still obviously going strong. If we ever had a statue competition he would get my vote!

I was at that game with my Dad and brother. The crowd were laughing and clapping him as he walked off and I think the ref even did a pratfall as he chased after him. Great memories! East Rider 549 Posted January 5, 2021 First saw him in the mid 70s when I was a kid, at my first CR experience (a night match). The anticipation of seeing live the City player everyone talked about was immense, very exciting. It mattered not that we lost that friendly 0-1 as I saw the great man play in goal for my team. #citylegend
Yellowhammer 86 Posted January 5, 2021 A great keeper who should have been capped can’t believe he is 80 where have all those years gone loved the great 72 season many happy memories
Pockthorpe 531 Posted January 5, 2021 Best keeper I’ve seen , and he stayed with Norwich . As a young lad watching him I thought he had a real aura about him , and he was a seriously , seriously cool dude . Happy birthday Mr.Keelan .
Capt. Pants 4,231 Posted January 5, 2021 I remember his rather 'classy' kicking action even if I can't remember specific saves. City keeper for 17 years - not much fun being backup keeper in those days 😂
keelansgrandad 6,679 Posted January 5, 2021 Oh we're better than Man United And we're louder than the Kop Keelan is the King And we'll soon be at the top
pearsos 56 Posted January 6, 2021 Best goalkeeper never to be capped for England, a very loyal servant to NCFC and a nice chap off the field. Hope he has many more birthdays.

lake district canary 4,531 Posted January 7, 2021 (edited) I've put this on here before, but couldn't let this go by. This is the great KK playing at the age of 70 and still making good saves. Edited January 7, 2021 by lake district canary
