Dr Greenthumb 793 Posted November 24, 2020 Brilliant news! Also got some horrible away games out of the way too (not that there is any nice ones in this league)

I really can't see an argument against it. To suggest clubs will miss out is surely flawed. People will still always go to the match, due to the experience. It's like saying people wouldn't go to live music as it's available as stream. Can anyone offer more to this?

Whilst I agree, I think the argument was that people living in Milton Keynes (for example) would rather stay at home and watch Man Utd (probably Man City or Liverpool now, but you get my point) than go and watch their local team. Thus, the smaller clubs lose out because of availability of bigger clubs to watch, which they could not physically attend. 1

Price being a factor in attendance numbers The problem there is one TV payment allows (for instance) 3 adults and 3 children to watch the same game - clearly cheaper than 6 tickets However there ius a demand for watching streamed games, given how many exiles of all clubs there are, How you satisfy that demand without crippling the club is the conundrum. I can only see it as some combination of the above.
