Well b back 3,190 Posted November 1, 2020 We go into these in great form, but as we all stand currently some big games, with some 6 pointers. Tuesday Millwall currently 7th 2 points behind us Saturday Swansea currently 2nd a point above us Followed by Middlesbrough in 3 weeks after the International break currently 5th a point behind us Then the Tuesday Stoke currently 8th 2 points behind us. With the games coming thick and fast we will already at that stage over a 1/4 of the season gone ( that’s flown by ). Would obviously love 12 points but would settle happily for 8 in this run of games as Swansea, Boro and Stoke all likely to be there or there abouts at the end of the season. What would you settle for ?

cambridgeshire canary 6,675 Posted November 1, 2020 8 points would make me happy.
Gordon Bennett 780 Posted November 1, 2020 I’d probably take seven points, anything less would see us losing our momentum a little. Boro and Stoke away look very tricky.
TheGunnShow 5,932 Posted November 1, 2020 Preferably no defeats, no injuries, and no suspensions. If it means drawing all four, it'll do.
Downloads 35 Posted November 1, 2020 First 2 at home, next 2 away, which might work in our favour with momentum. I'd say 6 is the absolute minimum 8 would be great Anything more is all gravy
sonyc 5,491 Posted November 1, 2020 As long as we have double the amount of points as the number of games played that would suit me. So with these 4 games it adds up to 9 points, meaning we would sit about second after playing 13 games and 26 points. Lovely. Another factor is that by the last week in November, you are fairly well set in terms of the likelihood of your final season position (after 40 years of watching such patterns for me.....yet Ricardo has expertise in these matters). So, if we are getting two points a game after 13 games, statistically, we would look in a powerful position. Game on.
Midlands Yellow 3,934 Posted November 1, 2020 7 points or more would be solid and have us on course for the aim of this season.
Beefy is a legend 224 Posted November 1, 2020 After Millwall, which in itself won’t be easy, these are three of our toughest games of the season. 6 or 7 points would be perfectly fine for me.
Kenny Foggo 1,116 Posted November 1, 2020 12 points 12 goals 4 clean sheets and a fully fit squad... Not too much to ask for is it...
Crafty Canary 495 Posted November 1, 2020 There are no easy games in the Championship. Just look at Wycombe’s last four games - odd goal defeats against Reading and us, draw with Watford and win against the Owls. Rampant Reading play bottom three Coventry and lose. Work hard and keep humble otherwise this league can easily give you a hefty kick to the gonads.
Well b back 3,190 Posted November 1, 2020 Good thoughts all ways round. In the main the International breaks seem to have worked in our favour, but this time around I wonder. With having such a big and competitive squad games coming thick and fast seems to suit us. As we move deeper into the season and teams need to rest players and pick up injuries, this again will fall into our ( and similar teams ) hands. I will be shocked if many positions are not decided on the size and strength of your squad as opposed to how good your best normal starting 11 is. However with this break we will have players away on duty and teams we are playing will be refreshed so our ability to rotate won’t have the same impact in 2 difficult away games and some of our players returning on the Thursday and probably needing to rest. Exciting times.
pete 318 Posted November 1, 2020 Main consideration all 4 will come to play and not park the bus which will be in our favour.
Mr Angry 1,545 Posted November 1, 2020 To remain undefeated would be great, and 2 home wins would be a bonus.
splendidrush 700 Posted November 2, 2020 Still early days, many are suggesting that Reading won't keep it going despite their brilliant start and along come lowly Coventry to do a job on them..... Eight points would be great from four tough games, even if we drew the two at home, as long as we win the away games the total would be the same, remember, we're Norwich, we don't do things the easy way. Agree, seven wouldn't be a bad return and mixed in with the results we've just had would look like a very good 10 game points haul.
lincsy88 95 Posted November 2, 2020 8 points would be satisfactory for me, 10 would be fantastic, 12 well I would be over the moon.

Well b back 3,190 Posted November 4, 2020 A point last night but plenty of results going for us last night and tonight Preston 3 up at Reading lol. Stoke and Watford drawing with a couple of minutes left. A win Saturday would be brilliant but will be another tough one.
