TeemuVanBasten 3,328 Posted October 24, 2020 (edited) Don't see much wrong there really, Mings thinks that Bamford has thrown himself to the floor and reacted accordingly. Lots of history between the two sides, remember when Leeds scored instead of putting the ball out of play? But Mings does remind me a bit of Kevin Muscat with his nasty streak, I think people realised that Ibrahimovic stamp was intentional when he did it to Oliviera. Coneys Knee 1,049 Posted October 24, 2020 Can’t stand either of those two players but for some reason I couldn’t help myself watching that thinking “go on Mings”!!! Haha! Seriously though, I agree, irrespective of his football ability I don’t believe players like Mings should be put out there on the international stage as a potential roll model. What happened with ibrahimovic and Oliviera will happen again with him I think as he struggles control his aggression.

Bamford hurts himself, Mings thinks he's play acting, trying to get him sent off , drags him up then drops him. Move along please.

To be fair Dunk is twice the man Mings is both personality wise and ability wise, no clue why he's not been called up when Mings has Hell, I think Tarkowski and even Smalling should have replaced Mings by now Edited October 24, 2020 by cambridgeshire canary

Both players go beyond simple sh1thousery , they immediately move into denial when they have lost it . Mings knows he stamped on Nelson , but if you watch the video he goes into self denial as soon as he does it As someone has just said - he will do it again as it is deep within a flawed character. Kevin Muscat was said to have been a lovely fella off the pitch, and there is evidence that Mings is too. But Joey Barton was a nasty thug off the pitch too. That said, people thought that Harold Shipman was a pillar of the community didn't they 😆
Trevor Hockey's Beard 606 Posted October 24, 2020 How is that not violent conduct when Mings shoves Bamford away? - it is very similar to the Emi red card against Burnley, but the VAR Barstools only showed the ref the bit with Emi and his elbow and not what lead up to it. Those running VAR have an agenda, and it isn't about fairness.

Mings does a lot of good things off the pitch and generally comes across as a thoroughly decent chap, whereas Joey Barton has made a habit of assaulting people. I hadn't heard that about Kevin Muscat, but he deliberately tried to end careers on the pitch on more than one occasion so I wouldn't believe that he's 'lovely'. If he played 20 years later, he'd have been banned and/or blacklisted from the game.

I think Iwan Roberts said it in his book, where he confessed to a deliberate stamp on Muscat as revenge for crocking Bellamy. Roberts said that Muscat was a nice bloke off the pitch. Whether there is any other evidence to support that view I don't know.
