hurricane 21 Posted October 3, 2020 Have just read this in the latest article. Guess it makes sense to a point. Backs up those saying we won't see any more incomings as the money has already been accounted for. Definantly feels like a season of transition still for us, possible playoffs, midtable likely. Tetteys Jig 830 Posted October 3, 2020 Still, until Buendia and Aarons leave, we have one of the best right sides in the country outside the top 6. Deffo need to be shooting higher than top 6. If Emi did go, would like Ryan Sessegnon on loan to replace/add to the side if no prem clubs take him
Uncle Fred 526 Posted October 3, 2020 I don’t but that spin there is huge parachute payments as well. the financial hole will be tiny in comparison to other championship clubs all our players had relegation clauses in their contracts
Tetteys Jig 830 Posted October 3, 2020 I think I heard something on the lines of Webber saying he wants us to be competitive at this level for several years if that's what it takes rather than just drop off after the parachute payments end. I'd imagine we've banked a bit to have a proper go next season and the year after if necessary too
