Huddersfield with their new striker beat Forrest last night.

Watford just took the lead against Luton

Wycombe having a roasting from Swansea.

Lots of tasty matchup's today. Millwall v Brentford for example.

Reckon Derby might have had their run as promotion contenders in the championship.

I went for Reading for the top 2 as my pre-season tip as they finished the last season so well (likewise Forest finished so poorly).  I think they may be a contender.

Saw most of Derby V Blackburn.  Either Derby are very cr_p, or Blackburn are very good.

Guess we'll find out next week.

Same as last season. The fixture list has been very kind to them in the first few games

To be fair a very decent start and yet to concede a goal but as you say they went off at a sprint last time and that didn't end well.

If the season was abandoned now they'd be home and hosed but with 43 games to play it's a long way to go.

Still maintain I dont see a lot of quality around in this league....I'm looking around at other results for 'rivals' but I dont really know who they are.

Our biggest opponents are 1) Injuries 2) transfer deadline day   3) Farke's team selections/favourtism

Watford doing enough to scrape wins. Don't think there is anyone we should really fear this season. Just need to get the transfer window out the way, and then hopefully get a bit of momentum going.

They'll bottle it mark my words

They havent played anyone yet

Its a stronger league this season than last with Hull and Charlton in there.

...Ipswich do have an advantage though of being used to the current surroundings with empty stadiums...

Reckon the binners will do alright. The general tighting of budgets will suit them well since they already operate on one and agent Lambert has had time to work on his next step up the ladder.
