Indy 3,286 Posted July 5, 2022 I don’t think he’ll go on his own it’ll take more to get him out, he’s as resolute as Trump or Putin for power! But what’s the alternative? They’re all as complicit and untrustworthy as Boris anyway!
sonyc 5,492 Posted July 5, 2022 Wonder if either the BBC or ITV have someone to book in the drone for the official car visit to Buckingham Palace tomorrow afternoon?

horsefly 4,288 Posted July 5, 2022 (edited) Just heard Rigby say that Raab, Dorries, and Rees-Bogg are remaining loyal, which means he's a gonner! "Just rejoice at that news", someone once said. Edited July 5, 2022 by horsefly It was Beth Rigby, not Burley as I originally stated

He is the only prime minister I can actually imagine trying to pull off another election to save his job in the circumstances. Also Sunak and Javid pretending they are resigning out of principle is incredible.
bringbackchippy 51 Posted July 5, 2022 Glad they've gone! We certainly don't want a muslim in the hottest, no good for any of us! Boris, stop telling lies and get on with doing the good job of leading our country, you're the man, bulldog spirit will always prevail!

I used to think that, but on reflection think it serves the Labour Party (LibDems etc) much better to get a new Tory leader in now in order for him/her to take full responsibility for the next couple of years of hell that the country is about to endure. Otherwise they dump Johnson just before an election and he soaks up all the past crap while the new guy gets a new leader bounce.

One of the unwittingly fun ironies of BoJo’s statement is that he gave Pincher a second chance but on reflection realised he (Pincher) was totally incorrigible and was never going to change his behavior…

horsefly 4,288 Posted July 5, 2022 Just imagine you were one of those obsequious sycophants willing to lie on behalf of Johnson since Friday. Raab, Coffey, Quince; may the stench of shi*t never leave your hands that you have so willingly cupped beneath Johnson's rancid buttocks.
