Don't think so, it was all the usual bluster followed by complete silence as far as I know - I imagine after they'd strip searched Matt Hancock and Michael Gove they didn't have the stomach to keep looking any further!

That image has just spoilt my evening milky coffee😐

Interesting rumours that Cummings is 50/50 to leave as well.

Plus Mark Frost. Edit! David Frost!

But I believe neither.

It would be catastrophic for Johnson if true.

Yep! every leader in the civilised world is getting their congrats in. And you can sense the joy and relief in their comments. Boris is truly f*cked now, not a friend in the world.

Except that Biden called Boris as the first European leader he contacted. Note: Biden called Boris, not Boris called Biden. Seems like Biden was in a big hurry to cosy up to Boris

He is.  However Sajid Javid is another good candidate, and his resignation as Chancellor in January rather than submit to an order by Cummings to sack his staff means that he isn't tainted by what's gone on since then.  And we will certainly need someone who is prepared to deal with the financial consequences of government spending on covid .  But dylan's point stands; can you see the same people who chose Johnson accepting a Muslim leader?

Conservatives are 2-0 up on Women Prime Ministers, so I don't think Labour should be throwing stones from their house of glass.

Pretty thin gruel RTB that they are making out this is some kind of diplomatic achievement.... Biden’s team have not disclosed the order of the calls, and who cares - Canada and UK and Ireland and France and Germany are all US allies.

Hilarious! Biden is a massive supporter of the Irish, and quite clearly called Boris to warn him that if he f*cked up the Good Friday Agreement he could kiss goodbye to any future FTA. Hardly rocket science.

Seems much more likely that Biden thought he would give Johnson his bollocking over the Northern Ireland border & his attempts to break internal International law straightaway, and whilst Johnson was still dithering over his next move in the 'Brexit negotiations🤣

Thanks for keeping notes during your attendance at the meeting. Was it Zoom or just plain ol' telephone thingy?

Well they cared a lot on the Pinkun messageboard, Surfer.

Before they found out Biden called Boris.

Then they lost interest.

For some reason.😔

Good to see the Pinkun messageboard was so well represented.😄

Come now.   Horsefly has a PhD, and he is therefore far too clever to give away state secrets like this. You'll be able to see his dossier in 30 years time.

Scrape that barrel clean Rocky. 🤣

There is not even a barrel there to be scraped. It is customary for the president-elect of the US to make these calls. They decide whom they will call and get aides to arrange a time, not least because the president-elect wants advisers listening in, and often will have an interpreter on hand. I doubt Biden needed one of those in this case. Being of Irish ancestry he is is probably well acquainted with English doublespeak and mendacity.

Didn't need to use my PhD to work this one out as even the thickest individual capable of reading could do so. Hardly a state secret what Biden has publicly said about Brexit and the Good Friday Agreement. He couldn't be any clearer that he thinks Brexit is a mistake, and that any threat to the Good Friday Agreement is totally unacceptable. Just takes the ability to read what is published. Anyone who thinks Biden changed his mind on these issues is in need of treatment. Or will his views just fizzle away like Donald Trump?

Can you imagine the meltdown from the Tories on here if it turned out a Labour Prime Minister was making decisions about key hires based on the opinion of their fiancée? Laughable.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2020/nov/13/special-adviser-sacked-by-dominic-cummings-to-receive-payoff

A special adviser who was escorted out of Downing Street by police on the orders of Dominic Cummings has been given a five-figure payoff by the government.

Sonia Khan, a former adviser to the then chancellor, Sajid Javid, is expected to receive the substantial sum after arguing in legal papers that the behaviour of Boris Johnson’s most senior aide was pivotal to her claim of **** discrimination.

The disclosure of a payoff weeks before a tribunal was due to be heard will be seen as an attempt by the government to protect Cummings from further controversy.

The end of Cumsputin, as outlined in the Daily Mash. 🤣

I superforecasted all this, says Cummings

DOMINIC Cummings has confirmed that he superforecasted everything about the current Downing Street row, including being out on his ar*e.

The prime minister’s special adviser, who can predict the future with 98 per cent accuracy simply by extrapolating from current events, says his forthcoming ejection from Downing Street is no surprise to him.

Cummings said: “As soon as we won the election, as I’d predicted, I sat down and plotted out the next year. Pandemic included.

“I foresaw, through the power of my superforecasting, the coming of coronavirus. I knew Boris would catch it and that I, like the genius I am, would flee to Durham, get caught and destroy the public’s trust in government. That was all part of the plan.

“Then I foresaw that Trump would lose, that my masterstroke of breaking international law for Brexit would be quietly dropped, and that Boris’s bird would kick me out in a row over my bald mate Lee.

“Like Dr Manhattan in Watchmen, I foresaw it all but am powerless to change the future. All must proceed as it must. My ar*e will hit the bricks exactly on schedule.”

He added: “Following that, my superforecast reveals I will get several highly-paid consultant gigs then be fired for spending all day googling Inception fan theories.”

sounds like Cummings is out already

Perhaps we could persuade him to keep walking until he reaches the white cliffs of Dover. Then we could crank up some Vera Lynn and get him to take a few steps more.

"Boris Johnson Has Sat On Priti Patel Bullying Report For Months, Ex-Top Official Suggests"

If the report exonerates this most odious individual why hasn't Boris published it? How the hell she is in parliament, let alone the cabinet, defies reason. Sacked by May for what one Tory MP described as "treasonous behaviour" whilst International Development Secretary and yet restored to government by Johnson. Tells you a lot about Johnson's moral compass.

Johnson doing such a great job that more Britons think Merkel and Macron are more trustworthy and more capable:

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/majority-of-eu-residents-support-bloc-with-uk-score-at-historic-high/ar-BB1b7Pa1?ocid=msedgntp

"Just one in two (51 per cent) UK residents had confidence in Boris Johnson to “do the right thing” regarding world affairs, compared to 76 per cent for Ms Merkel and 64 per cent for Mr Macron. In contrast, across the eight EU countries surveyed, a median of 36 per cent had confidence in Mr Johnson."
