Preston predictions

Recommended Posts

A draw is OK, but a win is better. We should be a little fresher after not having a cup match to bother with midweek. That said, at this stage of the season freshness is probably not the problem, in fact it could be argued that it's more match fitness.

It'll be a tough battle as it invariably is against Preston, but I think we'll nick it by one. Probably 1-0.

Hugil to get subbed on in the 90th minute and scoring a diving header to get the winner for us in the 93rd last second while ripping his shirt off and kneesliding all the way past Alex Neil while saluting us Nodge fans

I don’t have any reactions left (blame the chants for 1000 fans) but 👍👍👍.

Play Hugill against his old club and we will surely win and he will score.  A great way for him to make his debut.

3-1    Pukki Idah Hugill

We always seem to do very well against Preston, I have a feeling like others we’ll get a statement result, one which might convince some players to stay for the season......4-0 win.

Feel like this will be a 1-1.

Dowell to score with a deflected shot and Preston to equalise from a corner early in the 2nd half.

No buendia starting and maybe a cameo, and rightly so for a player who has done sod all for six months.

Unlike the rest of our stand-out overperformers?

And as you were the one b!tching about 'don't facts matter' earlier, here's one for you:

Emi was the ONLY norwich player to score a Premier League goal post lockdown (also the last six months).

Or don't facts matter?

3-1 Norwich. Pukki (2), Dowell.

Buendia's first game for us was a second-half sub cameo at home against Preston, who Farke's primordial league winners had struggled to break down until his introduction, and won 2-0.

Just as likely to happen twice as anything else!

Preston under Neil are one of the most competitive teams in the league. Should be a closely fought match.  1-1 or hopefully 2-1.

They are a very decent side but Norwich are better, just go for them from the off.
