nutty nigel 7,352 Posted September 15, 2020 This brings it home how soulless these games really are...
Herman 9,585 Posted September 16, 2020 Thanks nutty. A great, if somewhat depressing video. One to show in history lessons a few years down the road.
GenerationA47 737 Posted September 16, 2020 (edited) Very good video. They know what they’re doing, those canary tv people. Nice to see Lambert still directly involved in the club in that behind-camera role (17:34), in addition to his main assignment Edited September 16, 2020 by GenerationA47
keelansgrandad 6,679 Posted September 16, 2020 Very good DoubleN. Soulless is very apt. Football is for all and not just the players. They are just part of the recipe of Matchday. They might as well play at Colney. Also that Stearman's breaking leg's tackle looks even worse from that angle.
Norfolk Dan 304 Posted September 16, 2020 The team sheet is still fine on pen and paper!?

You're right about the tackle. If he had hit Idah full force that could have been him out for the season and quite possibly our promotion hopes with it! It was very interesting seeing some 'behind the scenes' stuff but the whole thing was so sterile it's untrue. Good to see the Huddersfield stadium whatever it's called these days. A ground breaking design at the time it was built and still has a 'different' look about it. Been there once back in 2011 as we closed in on promotion under PL. Unfortunately I think these 'test events' will not prove to be the precursor to a more general return of fans to football due in no large part to the Governments continued incompetence and mixed messaging. Opening up football will not be tolerated by the public if families have to pick and choose which grandparent they may be allowed to let in to their house! Chris Wilder pretty much said so on the radio just a few minutes ago.
