Crowds to return?

Recommended Posts

That gives NCFC lots of time to reconsider its position on the maximum size of family groups which it had previously set at an unrealistic 24 but will now have to reduce to 6 (the limit many other clubs including ITFC had already decided on).

Would you even want to go right now, if you were allowed.

NOT FOR ME!

If it's properly organised. A study of 1250 people who caught Covid revealed that 1248 caught it indoors. It wasn't clear where the other 2 caught it. As long as the crowd is controlled going in and out there won't be a problem. It's very similar to the tent in Chapelfield which has been used to host comedy performances over the last few weeks

Wouldn’t fancy the scrum for the toilets in The Barclay or getting out of the ground at the final whistle.

One person to the toilets at a time. Exit is one row at a time

The 24 number always seemed wildly high and designed to cram as many in as possible. 6 makes much more sense.

And to accommodate these new toilet restrictions half-time is going to be lengthened to 90 minutes!

I just visualised a lot of people peeing against a fence or whatever.

Some form of temperature testing before entry and also the wearing of face masks throughout would have to be compulsory and carefully scrutinized.

All sounds very difficult, but nothing is easy with this disease.

Would it be better to be in the middle of a row and have to squeeze past everyone else to get out for a pee, or at the end of a row and have everyone else squeezing past you?  Neither seems particularly in keeping with social distancing, but so long as no-one shouts, coughs or sneezes then I suppose the risk is low.  Can’t say the same for the handles on the toilet exit doors - distinctly unhygienic even in pre-Covid times.

Can't wait to get back in the ground, if we're still looking (eventually) at 8k fans, less than 1/3 of our capacity and it is properly organised then I have no problems with going.  There is plenty of evidence that suggests it's very difficult to catch coronavirus outside, especially if socially distanced.

ST have a 1 in 20,000 chance of being selected, others have no chance. If it’s not a least 8,000 they shouldn’t bother

The Preston game was always going to be more limited than the others, I'm more excited about this being a step in the right direction for attendance in October.

If the number is so limited it seems only fair to apply to those who spend a large portion  of their spare time and money following the Club all over the country come rain or shine especially as the Club knows who they are?

Needs to happen now, the government need to stop ****ing about and stop clubs going out of business, if we can go to the ****ing pub, with no masks, with 100s of other people in small indoor spaces then we can get outdoor football stadia going with at least 1/3 capacity.

Those who state the don't want to go, then don't! 🤷‍♂️
