Going on what we are seeing anyone changing their minds about cashing in on some of our talent ?

Hold on to them for as long as possible. There value will only increase. I think it's fair to assume they don't be one season wonders

Tut tut.  There goes the clean sheet and here comes a bollocking from Farke!

So far, impressed by Placheta, Skipp and Dowell

Godfrey and Aarons have been our poorest performers

What as Aaron’s done wrong?   He’s had a good game.  So has Godfrey.

Josh Martin has been by far our best player since he came on at HT.

Looks a real talent. The FK was pure quality.

I know it's been said numerous times by other people, but the prospect of Onel and Placheta in the front three is electric.

Completely turned off at the back in the last 10 mins - not good enough.

Good goal at the death by the striker

Freedom of the 6 yard box. Dreadful defending.

Think the experiment of Tettey and Godfrey together has concluded it won't work.  That was poor final 10 minutes.

I honestly cannot help but complain. Have we not learned anything? Why have we clearly not replaced our defensive coaches? We had these exact issues two seasons ago, one season ago.. And it's still going on

You've got to say that on balance we continue to give up far too many chances against teams of seemingly any level of ability

I don't think it's an experiment - just necessity - await to see what the team is for the second game, but Hanley has a long term injury and we've been told that Klose and Famewo are carrying minor knocks.

Looks like they’d all switched off at the back waiting for the full time whistle. Over the 90 minutes there were plenty of positives and the win was comfortable.

Well he's been subbed with 15 to go.  Wonder if he'll come on as a sub in 2nd game.  More to the point is Hugill who replaced him going to start in 2nd game.  Strange.

I'm guessing that Idah will start.

Darmstadt created many more chances, plenty of which were due to our defensive fragility.

Two of our goals relied on a dreadful mistake from their keeper and a 25 yard FK.

Not good enough, Pukki and Huggil missed open goals in the second half, big mix up in defence and a gift from Krul to give Darmstadt a goal, Josh Martin looked quality head and shoulders above everyone else. Back down to earth
