Sorry if this has been covered in any other thread, but our three Young Lions are back in the U21 squad:

Can we just forfeit the Luton game? Luton will see this as taking a scalp and having a good go in the cup as they always tend to, no doubt playing their strongest 11 while at this rate we are gonna have to field the under 15's

I would much rather focus on the Leauge for obvious reasons, nevermind how the fixture congesstion this year is already crazy enough without cup fixtures

Why we didnt just ask to move the game is clearly beyond me

Club didn't want to move the game as it would disrupt their pre-season preparations. In an already truncated pre-season losing a week for a low priority cup game is a massive nuisance.

Yes 15 players will be off, but there is still a very decent squad that Norwich can put together for the game. Norwich always rotate for first round of League Cup anyway - look at the team that played Crawley last season.

Has there ever been as many internationals in a NCFC squad?

(Another idea for your conundrums thread FTW....an emoticon for each international...#justjoking or perhaps, #halfjoking)

Remember hearing someone going on about how "English teams just dont feel english anymore hardly any English players in them" which while  a part of me does understand (Just go look at our teams and lineups from the 90's and early 2000's and compare them to now) isnt our squad being so international a good thing?

People complain about players not wanting to come to Norwich to play in the middle of nowhere etc etc but thats clearly not true if players from across the globe want to come and live here and play for us right?

Nevermind having so many players off on Duty does show we have quality in our squad too

It certainly does. It shows we are doing something very right. Especially younger players getting into U21 squads. It has to get them noticed which must increase their value.

The trick or the big thing though, is to get any team to gel and that is Farke's task now.

We can sense we have real quality around the squad ... remember those barren Hamilton/Grant years (and even Roeder) and our recruitment then (one or two went on to very good careers of course) but the Brellier, Foheringham era is so far away.

I think that was a bit of an excuse. Players will go to whoever will pay them the most, nine times out of ten.

That and the fact that the tour of Colney used to include a range of portakabins.

Well done to the boys - it's a testament to the training/recruitment that we have so many players going out international duty. That England u21 squad looks strong!

Good evidence of progress in the model we follow.

Didn't realise they were all still eligible.

I think you can play under 21s until  you are 37 nowadays.

I don't think they were really talking about German 2nd division players, we've conventionally had a problem attracting higher profile targets when in the Premier League (think your Leroy Fer's). Should imagine that problem has been more about club status and not fancying a relegation battle though.

Nobody is talking about an unemployed Tom Trybull coming on trial. He probably didn't have many other options.

This isn't the first time we've had a load of foreign players is it, think back to Anselin, De Waard, De Blaasis, Segura, Velasco, De Waard. Derveld, Giallanza, Libbra.

Had loads in the noughties.
