Mark .Y. 373 Posted January 31, 2006 Seconded - 14 goals in 34 prem games is a pretty good strike rate I would say, guess Johansson will find himself wide right now if Thorne keeps his place. Would love to think we have also done a deal with Colchester for Halford to join us in the Summer but I suppose if they get promoted they will not be selling him. Mark .Y. FinnCanary 0 Posted January 31, 2006 Couldn''t agree more but 3,5 million £ seems awfull lot of money for one player.
Block E Buh 0 Posted January 31, 2006 At last, some ambition! This is a great signing!Watch him score past the scummers!
Pyro Pete 2,346 Posted January 31, 2006 £3.5million seems somewhat pricey to me too. Although the BBC website says " the Baggies receive a guaranteed £2.75m with the remainder dependent upon appearances". But if he gets us the goals that turn us into a competitiveteam again, then it''s money well spent. Time will tell. Good luck tothe wee fella. Now if only we had bought a right midfielder/winger to provide him with some service...
lucky green trainers 0 Posted January 31, 2006 should ensure wavering fans will sign up for season tickets - good quality buy on the pitch and good business sense off it - expect to see 17-19,000 season ticket renewals - hopefully full houses next season. Canary Wundaboy 1,423 Posted January 31, 2006 Now if we could only sort out the service, the dodgy right side of midfield, the amount of dead wooded players, the leaky defence and the de-motivated goalkeeper we''ll be allrite....Oh and I almost forgot the tactically inane manager....
