Official Norwich vs Burnley Match Thread

I know we criticise us and rightly so at times but do you actually think Burnley should be a Premier League team? Probably the worst side I have seen here this season.

If we want to survive up there then Burnley are who we need to be.

Or Watford, or even Stoke before that.

Big, fast, with a couple of skillful players

If you want Premier league football then you have to accept we play like Burnley  and all the others who cling in there year on year.

I reckon we'd have beaten them with 11v 11

I'll have a pint of what you are having thanks.

This started when the promotion bus broke down.

Then came the sleeve advertising.

I just knew it was going to be bad.

I don’t think so. Lots of clubs go up and/or stay up playing better than Burnley. We’ve shown in a number of games against the top six or seven that when we are organised, play nice football on the counter/when we get chance to do so we look decent. We have just set up top open too often.

But amidst all the rubbish there is still Alex Tettey. Head and shoulders above the rest.

Lots don't.

A few do.

The style is undeniable. Big guys, fast, direct, hard to break down, fast press.

None of the things we can do.

The one ray of light in the darkness has been Christophe Zimmerman.

Onel too. Would start Onel most championship matches, fully fit and eager feel hes one of our best

If it wasn't for Godfrey's og, they might have been talking about making a film based on that 2nd half performance. When There Were 9, or something like that

The big challenge is to get this season out of our system, fast.

We have to start the Championship on the front foot. We need an experienced talisman.

So will there be a final whistle gather in the centre circle and wave at the camera in stead of a lap of honour?

I actually agree. At 11 v 11 I thought we were were the better side. Certainly had the best chance. Emi's moment of stupidity has screwed us, but whether its something like that, or a Krul mistake, a Timm Klose mis pass or other bad defending there has always been something. We might have gone down anyway but our capacity to self destruct has been top of the league.

Can we do the double over Man City more likely without Buendia and Drmic possible on the new found defensive formation

I bet Man City are touching cloth with turtle's heads in abundance at the Etihad.....Quaking in their boots at the thought of taking on the mighty Yellows!....."LET'S BE 'AVIN YOU!"......

Krul, 45 mins of Zimmerman, Tettey and Hernandez. The only real rays of light over a dismal restart. Build the new side around those guys.

It will take a significant transfer fee for Tim to be second string.  Already done that at Brighton he was happy to be here not solong ago.  But money does talk.
