Aarons to Spurs 2. Lewis - Stays at Norwich 3. Cantwell to Liverpool or Newcastle (Maybe Leeds as an outside bet) 4. McLean to Rangers (or anywhere else please) 5. Drmic to Sunday league, doubtful Leiston though - Eadie is in charge there and has seen a fair bit of Drmic this season with Radio Norfolk duties. Can't imagine having seen that much of him he will be interested in signing him! 6. Klose - Young boys or Sion - one of the better Swiss teams 7. Leitner - Free transfer 8. Trybull - Free transfer 9. Emi to La Liga. Valencia or someone of that ilk.

Lindelhof is the clear weak link for them, and Godfrey's strengths are Maguire's weaknesses and vice versa - they'd make an excellent partnership..... Il Pirata 249 Posted July 20, 2020 I hope Leitner can be re-introduced. If his relationship is ok with Farke he could be like a new signing for us. His touch and quick passing is a joy to watch, and critical to Farke's preferred style. He's very talented, be a shame not to see him play for us again.

Godfrey and Maquire at centre back for United next season would be a recipe for disaster IMO. Too big of a step up for Godfrey currently.

He won’t go to Manchester United. if he goes it will be to a bottom half team. at Manchester United he would resemble smalling and jones.

Mason 47 1,351 Posted July 21, 2020 Very (very) loosely linked to Nouha Dicko on Twitter. Just turned free agent when his contract at Hull expired, was a dangerous player a few years ago but has lost his way recently. Basically sounds like Championship Drmic to me. Bethnal Yellow and Green 1,557 Posted July 21, 2020 Also some suggestion that Norwich are looking at Boone from Charlton and Gelhardt from Wigan. Although the latter is likely to move to a Premier League team. I wouldn’t mind Norwich picking up Jackson Irvine on a free transfer. Probably wouldn’t be a starter, but he’d be a good squad player in the midfield.

They're not gonna win the PL with that kind of signing so that's a strange one.

He is apparently looking for somewhere that will actually give him game time and not shove him in the U23w, so he might not jump straight to a Prem club (although that would seem the most likely). I'm hoping this a trend among younger players in this country- apparently Bellingham chose Dortmund over some other English teams as he was told he'd get more game time, same reason Sancho went to Germany. Maybe these young players and their agents are realising there is something to be said for playing regularly at smaller club over picking up wages to be in a bigger eams u23's and becoming the next Patrick Roberts or John Bostock. How achievable is is to replace those six with better players?
Alfie54 75 Posted July 21, 2020 If we were to lose, Aaron’s, Godfrey, Lewis, Pukki, Beundia and Cantwell, we could be looking at around £100m, maybe more. How much do you think will be spent on new players? I suspect, not much of it
BroadstairsR 2,093 Posted July 21, 2020 "How much do you think will be spent on new players? I suspect, not much of it. A decent amount I should imagine, but it has to be weighed up against the fact that a Championship existence is a loss making enterprise, especially if it is prolonged. This season's disaster has probably been beneficial to the bank balance at least. We also have parachute money and healthy season ticket sales (all things being equal) to add to the pot. Also, we do seem to have been remarkably active in the transfer market already and whilst it has not not seemingly been over-expansive I, for one, am quite encouraged/excited by that. Now we can invest more money in that area. “You will hear no excuses from me next season, in terms of finances, around the squad.”
