Championship games Weds night

Yup, fair play to Barnsley, they gave us a game and no mistake.

No easy games in the Championship, well other than Wigan vs Hull but they're the games you'd have lost before.

you are getting confused with the PL

when any club finishing with less than 40 points is automatically relegated

(see posts on here)

Nope it was always 50 points. All managers said that was their first target. Although I think recently someone was relegated on goal difference with 51 points.

Correct. The stars are aligning, last won promotion to the top flight 30 years ago when Liverpool last won the league. Just had to be Derby at Pride Park on Sunday... (assuming WBA and Brentford win).

If your team messes it up from here there's no hope for you 😆

WBA v H'field tonight

Should be a win for the saggies, but any dropped points mean Brentford would be a point or two behind with a game in hand

Saggies equalise with a goal just before half time that was way offside

Leeds are up

and it's in the hands of Brentford now a win and a draw will be enough from their final two games

Leeds are a club deserving of promotion. Their fans, however...

The best performing team at the end so deserve to go up, now hoping brentford do it also as I think they are the best team to watch play and would enjoy watching them play against the PL sides.

How long before Lowfields joins us 🤔

WBA were so poor, they are really in danger of missing out now.

Nothing about either suggests we will have much to worry about next season

given what was riding on this for the Saggies

Always seems to be the case doesn't it? Either Man United or leeds when it comes to pundits.

Might as well just rip their shirts off and start rubbing their nipples while moaning about Leeds and United, least make it even more obvious

The bottom three as it stands look the most likely

Wigan need to maintain their 12 point gap from the bottom three and should go some way to that against Charlton, though I doubt that will be added to in their final game v Fulham

Barnsley with games v Brentford and Forest look unlikely to pick up enough to avoid the drop

Hull v Luton will end the hopes of one or both as only a max 3 points avoids relegation

Charlton v Leeds and Wigan, may well have to hope those below don't make up the 2 points as being their best hope

and as both Luton and Hull can't both pick up maximum points it is out of one of the bottom four to avoid the drop

otherwise great to watch from a 'safe' distance 😃

So, a three way battle to see who now finishes second - WBA, Brentford, Fulham

Boro not safe as a brace by Josh Murphy, with Howson sent off - as Cardiff now battle fellow taffs, Swansea, and Forest for the final play off place

Luton give themselves a fighting chance with a win at Hull - leaving them with a very slim chance among the bottom six ...................who all could be relegated

Set up for a cracking Weds night, when at least nine of the games will have an impact on who goes up or down and who is in the play offs

Barnsley needing a win, hit the post

still 0-0

would see Barnsley down, and Forest's play off place secured

another night of do or die where round 8 or 9 games have a team in the mix

eyes down for 7.30

where it will be decided who four teams are, who we will not be facing next season
