Championship games Weds night

Recommended Posts

With nine clubs still in the relegation mix

and a possible seven chasing the final play off place it is set up for a cracking run in

Brentford are now only 3 points behind WBA for the second auto spot.... with WBA at Fulham tonight

Brentford in the PL ?

Fulham, Leeds, West Brom. x3 strong teams got rid of including the bogey team. Nottingham will be a contender next season and Bristol always lurking

Forest usually bottle it, they don’t worry me too much. This season it would be surprising if it wasn’t Fulham or Brentford who go up with the top two - they’ve been better than Forest and everyone from 6th to 12th. Next season I’d rather play against Brentford than Fulham, so hopefully Fulham do it in the playoffs.

it will be enjoyable watching around 18 clubs battling for success, or against failure

not sure if it has been this close with just the three games to go

I suspect they'll be a club (or two) who will be grateful the season was played out rather than it being ended early

Hoping Luton in their quest for survival can bag three points against QPR this evening 👍

Home wins for Wigan, Reading & Sheff Wednesday would help the Hatters cause.

Wigan 5-0 up at Hull, so look like they'll stay up even with a 12 point penalty, and only 40 minutes gone so far!

Wigan now 6-0 up at Hull after 42 minutes, is this going to be some kind of record?

farc me

7-0 half time now (ta IS)

six pointer, which also puts their goal difference far better than those below

WBA held at Fulham giving Brentford the chance of narrowing it to a point between them 9they play Weds)

with a better goal difference as well

Saggies to end up in the play offs instead of the automatics ?

Not being pedantic but it was at WBA.

Patrick Roberts just put Boro in the lead. About time he did something.

Could be vital as three points will haul Boro out of the relegation zone for now

meanwile Cardiff v Derby could see Derby take Cardiffs play off place

I’d rather Derby go up, I think they might be the team to beat next year if they stay down. I’m not sure how Covid will effect the EFL FFP situation for next year.
